Our hometown boy turns 50 tomorrow! (Thanks for the reminder Mira) So in honor of his birthday, here is his 1985 video for "When Doves Cry". This was one of my fav's from Purple Rain. I HAD that step down at the end of the video. "That's my song"!

Sweet! Thank you ma'am- I still stop to watch that movie when it's on tv. I remember when Purple Rain was filimg in Mpls. Since I went to HS Downtown, we all hoped to see the Purple One after school - we didn't =( I want to see you do the move next time I see you - Now I must listen to a little Raspberry Baret
